My young patient from konkan. He lost his vision due to retinal detachment caused by a large retinal tear called Giant retinal tear. It requires lot skills ,better technology and a bit of luck to treat such case. Fortunately he got all his vision back. Technology, skills, luck and faith are important determinants of good outcome. Retinal surgery is a challenging surgery as risk of failure is quite high despite best of skills and technology.
