Nandadeep Eye Hospital in Sangli inaugurated its “Women’s Month” campaign on Thursday to mark Women’s Day. The event was attended by Mayor Dheeraj Suryawanshi, Pooja Patil, Panchayat Committee member Amruta Gavde, and Madhavnagar Sarpanch Anju Toro, and began with a traditional lamp lighting.
Dr. Dilip and Dr. Madhavi Patwardhan spoke about the important role of women in Indian culture and shared inspiring examples of their selfless contributions. Dr. Sourabh and Dr. Nidhi Patwardhan highlighted Nandadeep’s excellence in modern eye treatment and education in eye care.
Pooja Patil of “Mee Saksham” expressed full support for the initiative, and Mayor Suryawanshi noted that the celebration extends throughout March, not just a single day. Hospital staff and guests appreciated the various ongoing initiatives. During March, female patients can avail 50% off on eye check-ups, 10% off on cataract surgery, and up to 20% off on spectacles.
