With an objective to introduce modern technology and innovative surgical skills to eye specialists from India and abroad, a two-day eye conference Phacotips 3.0-was organised in Sangli at Nan- dadeep Eye Hospital. Organised by Dr Sourabh Patwardhan, the confer- ence was attended by several ophthalmologists from all over the country and different countries of the world. In fact, many ophthalmologists joined virtually too.

Latest technologies and expertise used in complex eye surgeries were showcased for ophthalmologists through live projection using 3D gog gles and 3D systems with live demonstrations. A clinical demonstra- tion was conducted by Dr Sourabh. He along with Dr Deepak Megur, Dr Nidhi Patwardhan, Dr Bharti Megur, Dr Dilip Patwardhan, Dr Madha- vi Patwardhan, Dr Prasanna Aradhe, Dr Umesh Amarale, Dr Komal Nitve, among others, guided the delegates.
