Eligibility for PM-JAY

Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011
- Families identified in the SECC 2011 database are eligible for PM-JAY benefits. This includes rural and urban families based on specific deprivation and occupational criteria.
Deprived Rural Families
- Families living in rural areas who meet any of the six deprivation criteria (such as those without a solid roof, landless households, etc.) are automatically eligible.
Occupational Categories in Urban Areas
- Specific occupational categories of workers in urban areas, including street vendors, domestic workers, sanitation workers, and others, are eligible under PM-JAY.
