आजकाल मोतीबिंदूची सर्जरी अतिशय छोट्या छेदातून केली जाते. छेद जरी लहान असला तरी त्याची भरून येण्याची प्रक्रिया निसर्ग स्वतः करत असतो.
काही रुग्णांमध्ये नसा आणि अश्रूंची (Tear Film) हिलिंग थोडी उशिरा होते, त्यामुळे ड्रायनेस, इरिटेशन आणि सेंसिटिव्हिटी जाणवू शकते.
ही समस्या साधारणपणे २ ते ३ टक्के रुग्णांमध्ये तात्पुरती दिसून येते.

This usually happens due to the natural healing process after surgery.
Modern cataract surgery is performed through very small incisions, but healing of nerves and tear film can take some time in a few patients.
This may cause temporary dryness, irritation, or sensitivity.
Such symptoms are seen only in about 2–3% of patients and are usually temporary.
