सांगलीतील योगिता लक्ष्मण मारगुडे यांना टायपिंगचे काम करताना डोळे लाल होणे, डोकेदुखी आणि स्पष्ट दिसत नसणे असा त्रास होत होता. एका ठिकाणी त्यांना चष्मा लागेल आणि तो किमान दोन वर्षे वापरावा लागेल असे सांगण्यात आले.
परंतु नंदादीप आय हॉस्पिटल मध्ये तपासणी केल्यानंतर समजले की त्यांना चष्मा नाही, तर डोळ्यांचे जवळचे मसल्स कमजोर झाले होते. त्यासाठी त्यांना १५ दिवसांची व्हिजन थेरपी (Vision Therapy) सुचवण्यात आली.
कॉम्प्युटर व्हिजन थेरपी, पेन पुश-अप, ब्रोक स्ट्रिंग, कार्ड्स आणि फ्लिपर्स अशा व्यायामांमुळे आता त्यांचा डोळ्यांचा त्रास पूर्णपणे कमी झाला आहे. डोकेदुखी थांबली, डोळे लाल होणे बंद झाले आणि आता त्यांना चष्म्याची गरज नाही.
Yogita Laxman Margude from Sangli was facing problems like eye redness, headache and blurred vision while doing typing work. She was earlier told that she needed spectacles for at least two years.
However, after examination at Nandadeep Eye Hospital, doctors found that she did not need spectacles. Instead, the near eye muscles were weak.
She was advised 15 days of Vision Therapy, including exercises like Computer Vision Therapy, Pen Push-up, Brock String, Cards and Flippers.
After completing the therapy, her eye strain, redness and headaches reduced significantly and now she can see clearly without spectacles.
