मोतीबिंदू सर्जरीनंतर पहिला आठवडा पूर्ण झाल्यावर डोळ्यांची काळजी घेण्यासाठी सोपी मार्गदर्शन. आठवडा पूर्ण झाल्यावर अंघोळ करताना डोक्यावरून पाणी घेऊ शकता. चेहरा साबण किंवा फेसवॉशने धुवू शकता – जखम भरलेली असते, म्हणून हरकत नाही. झोपताना उजव्या किंवा डाव्या बाजूला कुशीवर आरामात झोपा. दोन्ही बाजू सुरक्षित आहेत. टीव्ही, मोबाइल, वाचन, लिखाण, घरकाम – सर्व दैनिक कामे नेहमीप्रमाणे सुरू करा. फक्त जवळ बघताना चांगला प्रकाश वापरा. बाहेर जाऊ शकता. हलका व्यायाम (चालणे) करा. गॉगल फक्त बाहेर धूळ-वारा टाळण्यासाठी १५ दिवस वापरा. घरात गरज नाही. १-२ आठवडे जड वजन उचलू नका (हलके वजन ठीक आहे). चांगली झोप घ्या – ही बरे होण्यासाठी खूप महत्त्वाची आहे. चष्म्याची सध्या गरज नाही (दृष्टी चांगली आहे). गरज पडली तर शून्य नंबरचे संरक्षणात्मक चष्मे वापरा. ३ आठवड्यांनी डॉक्टरांना भेट द्या.
