foreign [Music] [Applause] good morning friends today’s video is about treatment of dry eyes we have understood now in the last three episodes whether you are a patient of dry eye and understanding your dry end how to evaluate your dry life now moving forward for the treatment of dry ice first part it is mostly the medication lubricating drops gel the oral tablets which are given for the treatment of dry ice the second one which you can do at the house some procedures to help to get rid of your dry eye symptoms the third and fourth one the kind of procedures done in the hospital and cleaning to help to reduce your dry eyes and last one the surgical thing we will discuss in the next video so I will discuss first two parts regarding the medications and the things which you can do at your house to get rid of the dryness so far as the medications usually we have a ocean of lubricating drops for treatment of your dryness these there are different types of drops and depending upon the type of dry eye and the severity of dry eye you have we prescribe the drops remember the brand of drought is not important but the content of drop is important and let your physician decide what type of a drop suits you better there are some lubricating gels also which are given to the patient usually at the night time to have a long lasting effect and patience with severe dry eye they can use even in the day time there are some oral medications the first one is the omega-3 fatty acid which is good for the quality of your oil layer in your eyes and the natural sources for omega-3 fatty acids are the non-vegetarian source is the fish fish oils boiled fish are better than the fried ones and the vegetarian sauce includes the flax seeds these are the highest source of omega-3 fatty acid there are some other sources also we usually give you the kind of tablets which you can take orally for about two to three months for this Supply also if you have any vitamin deficiencies vitamin D vitamin D3 beta vitamin B12 or any systemic illness that has to be addressed first for betterment of your dry eyes there is also a oral doxycycline tablet is given to improve the quality of oil layer in your eyes and to take care of some inflammation in your eyes there is some newer drops like containing the cyclosporane there are some other new Costa like a drop which has which are available outside India but there are few drops like containing cyclosporine depending upon your type of dryness and severity of dryness the different concentration of the drugs are available so whatever better for your eyes let your surgeon decide for the decide for you there are even some newer nasal spray are available in the market for the treatment of your dry eyes and they are available outside India may be available in the India on the online purchase that the second treatment is heart fermentation and Lead massage this you can do at your house without investing any cost in the treatment so hot fermentation is usually done using some cloth dip into the hot water squeeze it may fold it and put it on your closed eyes it is like heating the butter and it becomes clarified similarly once you heat these glands which are blocked because of the oil oil blockages and once you heat it it becomes liquefies and it helps in getting rid of those black blockages it is usually the hot fermentation is advised for 10 to 15 minutes mostly in the night time there are some other type of eye patches available online which helps in hot fomenting but remember it is the weight heat which is more important than the dry heat so while buying some eye patches heating eye patches on online just make sure that it delivers the weighty not the dry heat after you heat this glands you have to squeeze them out so there are the blade massages like for the upper lid from upside down for the lower leg from inside out there is one small video about hot fermentation and Lead massage the link is attached in the description box which will help you to guide how to do exactly this hot fermentation and leg massage and these you can do at your house to get rid of these irritating symptoms of dry eyes so next episode we will discuss what are the other procedures which we do in our Clinic to help you to get rid of the triage thank you thank you
