नमस्कार मी डॉक्टर सौरभ पटवर्धन नंदादीप नेत्रालयाच्या सर्व शाखांचा मी संचालक म्हणून काम करतो आपल्याला मोतीबिंदूचा ऑपरेशन करायचं आता ठरलेला आहे आणि याच्यामध्ये लेन्स विषयीची अधिक माहिती मी या व्हिडिओमध्ये देणार आहे आणि तुम्हाला ऑलरेडी जे बुकलेट दिलेला असेल त्याच्यामध्ये विविध प्रकारच्या लेन्सेस या लिहिलेल्या आहेत त्याच्यामधली तुम्हाला जी डॉक्टरांनी तुमच्या डोळ्याची तशीच तुमची गरजा ओळखून जी लेन्स तुमच्यासाठी सिलेक्ट केलेली आहे त्या चा प्रकार आहे एक्सटेंडेड डेप्थ ऑफ फोकस लेन्स एक्सटेंडेड डेप्थ ऑफ फोकस लेन्स याचा वापर अशा लोकांना फायद्याचा असतो ज्यांना थोडसं जवळचा सुद्धा विदाऊट चश्मा दिसावं अशी गरज असते त्याचबरोबर त्यांना रात्रीच्या वेळी थोडं ड्रायव्हिंग सुद्धा लागणार असतं जवळचं दिसण्यासाठी अजून एक लेन्स उपलब्ध असते ट्रायफोकल परंतु ट्रायफोकल लेन्स मध्ये रात्रीच्या वेळी ज्यावेळी लाईट समोरून येतात त्यावेळी त्याभोवती वलय किंवा लाईट हा स्प्रेड होतो त्यामुळे ड्रायव्हिंगला अडचण येऊ शकते ही अडचण एक्सटेंडेड डेप्थ ऑफ फोकस मध्ये ही अतिशय कमी असते किंवा बऱ्याचदा होत नाही त्यामुळे अशा रुग्णांना ज्यांना एक्सटेंडेड डेप्थ ऑफ फोकस लेन्स बसवलेले आहे त्यांना रात्री ड्रायव्हिंग सुद्धा ते करू शकतात अर्थात लाईट जो असतो तो थोडासा फुटल्यासारखा वाटू शकतो परंतु इतका त्रास होत नाही की ज्याच्यामुळे तुम्हाला ड्रायव्हिंग करता येणार नाही याचा एक डिसएडवांटेज असा आहे की ट्रायफोकल लेन्स मध्ये आपल्याला जवळच सुद्धा दिसू शकतं अगदी जवळच्या अंतरावरच कारण त्याच्यामध्ये जी ऍडिशन वापरलेली असते ती जास्त असते एक्सटेंडेड डेप्थ ऑफ फोकस लेन्स मध्ये ही ऍडिशन कमी असते त्यामुळे जनरली थोडसं लांब आपण कुठली वस्तू धरली तर ती आधी अधिक सुस्पष्ट दिसू शकते त्यामुळे तुम्हाला जर रात्री ड्रायव्हिंग करण्याची गरज असेल पण त्याच वेळी तुम्हाला थोडसं जवळ दिसावं अशी गरज असेल तर तुम्हाला एक्सटेंडेड डेप्थ ऑफ फोकस ही लेन्स अतिशय योग्य आहे पण लक्षात ठेवा ही लेन्स वापरल्यानंतर सुद्धा जवळजवळ 20 ते 30 टक्के लोकांना फार बारीक जवळचं बघण्यासाठी चश्मा लागू शकतो तसेच पाच ते दहा टक्के लोकांना दूर साठी सुद्धा चश्मा लागू शकतो या लेन्स मध्ये टोरिक आणि नॉन टोरिक असे दोन प्रकार असतात तुम्हाला जर बुबळाच्या तुमच्या तपासणी नंतर डॉक्टरांनी टोरिक लेन्सचा सल्ला दिला असेल तर तुम्ही जरूर टोरिक प्रकारचीच लेन्स यामधली सिलेक्ट करा कारण जर टोरिक प्रकारातली लेन्स सिलेक्ट नाही केली तर तुम्हाला नंबर राहण्याची शक्यता ही वाढते धन्यवाद
