नमस्कार मी डॉक्टर सौरभ पटवर्धन नंदादीप नेत्रालय याचा मी संचालक आहे आणि आमच्या सांगली कोल्हापूर बेळगावी रत्नागिरी मुलुंड पुणे अशा विविध ठिकाणी शाखा आहेत तसेच आमच्या इथे नंदादीप स्कूल ऑफ ऑप्टोमेट्री म्हणजेच ऑप्टोमेट्रीचं शासनानं मान्यता प्राप्त असं कॉलेज सुद्धा आहे तर या व्हिडिओमध्ये मी थोडक्यात आपल्या तरुण विद्यार्थी विद्यार्थिनींना माहिती देणार आहे ती ऑप्टोमेट्रिक कोर्सच्या विषयी तर आता नुकतंच बारावीची परीक्षा झाली आहे नीट ची परीक्षा झाली आहे त्याचे रिझल्टही आलेत आणि बऱ्याच लोकांना किंवा विद्यार्थ्यांना एक पुढे काय करायचं याविषयी थोडीशी अधिक माहिती हवी असते आता यामध्येच ऑप्टोमेट्री हे एक चांगलं क्षेत्र आहे आपल्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी ज्यांना सायन्सची आणि पॅरामेडिकल किंवा मेडिकल सर्विसेसची आवड आहे ऑप्टोमेट्री हे एक पॅरामेडिकल कोर्स आहे याच्यामध्ये डोळ्याविषयी मेजरमेंट आणि त्याविषयीच्या आजारांविषयी अधिक शिक्षण दिलं जातं बारावी सायन्स नंतर हे शिक्षण घेता येतं आणि सांगलीमध्ये नंदादीप स्कूल ऑफ ऑप्टोमेट्री हे एमएच एस मान्यता प्राप्त असं विद्यालय आमच्याकडे आहे यामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना बीएससी ऑप्टोमेट्री ही डिग्री मिळते ऑप्टोमेट्रिस्ट हा नेमका काय करतो याविषयी मी थोडक्यात सांगतो तुम्हाला माहिती आहे की आपल्याला डोळ्याला कुठलाही त्रास असेल तर आपण डोळ्याच्या डॉक्टरांकडे जातो डोळ्याच्या डॉक्टरांकडे गेल्यानंतर डोळे तपासून मग आपल्याला डोळ्याचा नंबर आहे का हे पाहावं लागतं डोळ्याचा प्रेशर बघावा लागतं डोळ्याचा पडदा चेक करावा लागतो इतर काही आजार आहेत का हे पाहावं लागतं आणि त्यानुसार औषधोपचार किंवा शस्त्रक्रिया याविषयी डोळ्याचे डॉक्टर आपल्याला माहिती देतात तर यासाठीच ऑप्टोमेट्रिस्ट यांची गरज असते ऑप्टोमेट्रिस हे डोळ्याचा नंबर काढण्याचं काम करतातच त्याशिवाय डोळ्याचे बाकी विविध तपासण्या सुद्धा यामध्ये विविध डायग्नोस्टिक इक्विपमेंटचा वापर केला जातो हे सुद्धा ऑप्टोमेट्रीस करू शकतात डोळ्याचा फायनल नंबर देणं किंवा कॉन्टॅक्ट लाईन देणं हे सुद्धा ऑप्टोमेट्रीस करू शकतात बऱ्याच आजारांचे जे सुरुवातीला लक्षणं किंवा स्क्रीनिंग ज्याला म्हणतो आम्ही त्याच्यामध्ये डायबिटीस असू दे किंवा काजबिंदूचा आजार असू दे मोतीबिंदू असू दे इत्यादी विविध आजारांचा स्क्रीनिंग टेस्ट सुद्धा ऑप्टोमेट्रिस करू शकतात आणि त्यांना त्यामध्ये कुठलीही शंका वाटली तर ते डोळ्यात डॉक्टरांकडे रेफर करू शकतात बीएससी ऑप्टोमेट्रीचे बरेच कोर्सेस उपलब्ध आहेत परंतु सध्या शासन मान्य सांगलीमध्ये एमएचएस शी संलग्नित असं नंददीप स्कूल ऑफ ऑप्टोमेट्री येथे हा कोर्स चालू आहे ऑप्टोमेट्री झाल्यानंतर म्हणजे बेसिक डिग्री बीएससी झाल्यानंतर एक वर्षाचं इंटर्नशिप असते जिथे विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रॅक्टिकल नॉलेज म्हणजे रुग्णांना कसे हाताळायचं त्यांचे नंबर कसे काढायचे त्यांना कशा प्रकारचे ट्रीटमेंट उपचार द्यायचे याविषयी सुद्धा त्यांना शिकवले जाते आणि या थ्री प्लस वन इयरच्या कोर्स नंतर ते ऑप्टोमेट्री म्हणून काम करू शकतात बीएससी ऑप्टोमेट्री झाल्यानंतर त्यांना त्याच्यामध्येच मास्टर्स म्हणजे मास्टर ऑफ ऑप्टोमेट्री करण्याची संधी असते याशिवाय त्यांना त्यामध्ये संशोधन करायचं असेल तर पीएचडी ते करू शकतात इतर वेगवेगळ्या ज्या कोर्सेस आहेत जसं एमबीए आहे म्हणजे ज्याला पोस्ट डिग्री कोर्सेस म्हणतात त्याच्यामध्ये सुद्धा हे ऑप्टोमेट्री पुढे जाऊ शकतात वेगवेगळ्या कंपन्या ज्या आहेत त्यांच्यामध्ये सुद्धा ते रिप्रेझेंटेटिव्ह काम करू शकतात किंवा त्याच्यामध्ये टेक्निकल ऍडव्हायझर्स किंवा टेक्निकल सपोर्ट स्टाफ मध्ये सुद्धा ते काम करू शकतात आपल्याला माहितीच आहे की वेगवेगळे ऑप्टिकल चेन्स सध्या चालू झालेले आहेत त्यामध्ये सुद्धा त्यांना आपलं करिअर करण्याची संधी असते स्वतःचं क्लिनिक किंवा स्वतःचे ऑप्टोमेट्रीचे क्लिनिक आणि चश्म्याची दुकान हे सुद्धा ऑप्टोमेट्री चालू करू शकतात तर तर तुम्हाला सगळ्यांनाच विद्यार्थी विद्यार्थ्यांना माझ्या मते ऑप्टोमेट्रीस हा कोर्स जरूर तुम्ही विचार करावा बारावी सायन्स आणि ज्यांचं पीसीबी झालेला आहे अशा विद्यार्थ्यांना या ऑप्टोमेट्रिक क्षेत्रामध्ये आपलं करिअर करण्याची ही सुवर्ण संधी आहे त्यासाठी आमचा पत्ता आणि नंबर मी देत आहेच त्याला तुम्ही संपर्क करून अधिक माहिती घेऊ शकता
